Important support changes under Oracle Lifetime Support

In March of 2013, Oracle moved to a Continuous Innovation model with the delivery of the 9.2 release of PeopleSoft applications including CRM, CS, ELKM, FMS, ESA, SCM and HCM. Oracle recently announced an adjustment to the Oracle Lifetime Support policy and now intends to provide Premier Support "through at least" December 2030 for its PeopleSoft Continuous Innovation releases.11

SAP has extended mainstream maintenance and support for its Business Suite to 2025.6
Oracle Database Support:
SAP and Oracle have extended support for Oracle Database for SAP applications. During this extension SAP customers can obtain Oracle licenses from SAP or Oracle for their SAP business application. SAP and Oracle will continue to offer support for SAP environments including Oracle Database.7

SAP will continue its current resale practices for Oracle Database runtime licenses for the first part of the extension period, through December 31, 20237

For the final two years of the extension, between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025, SAP will sell Oracle runtime licenses only to existing Oracle runtime customers7
